Teacher's Manual & DVD
Our manual is designed to be user friendly. It will walk you through step-by-step what to do in class as well as how to do the dance steps themselves.
The DVD shows you each step for every dance included in the manual. We demonstrate the Lead and Follow's parts individually and then dance them together.
Every dance and variation is broken down step-by-step for both the Lead and the Follow. We also include pictures and descriptions to follow along with and hints on how to make the dance work.
We've included a short history of each dance and geographic map showing where the dance originated.
Simple Steps Each Day
We have ten simple steps each day for the first few days of class. Included are games to keep things interesting and tips on how to get kids dance quickly and having fun.
Reading & Writing
Science & Math
Word Search, Cross Word Puzzle, Prompts for Journaling, and book lists with suggestions for books about dancing are included to share with your students.
Basic math and physics concepts we use on the dance floor are turned into classroom lessons to share.
